I got this one at our favorite BBQ restaraunt, Baumbach’s in New Paris, Ohio. It came in a bottle and poured a clear golden color with a white head that hung around awile. Aroma was very inviting, smelled like a meal unto itself. I couldn’t wait to try it. It had a very thick feel and left a film of malt in my mouth. With 9% ABV it was surprisingly sweet. Very malty, not much in the way of hops. I felt like I was chewing every drink. Not a beer I would drink all night long on the porch but it did go well with the pulled pork sandwich I had. If you like thick, heavy beers, then this one is for you.
