This cigar had all the makings of a good smoke. Robusto size and a maduro wrapper. It had a few veins in the wrapper but not too much. The cut was normal, and it had a good draw. Lots of smoke. Thick white, puffy smoke. If nothing else, this cigar looked good while it burned. It lasted abut 45 minutes and had a nice even burn until about 2/3 of the way through. Then some real problems started to emerge. One side of it seemed to stop burning, and the other side began burning faster and started to feel hot on my lips. This would be a good cigar to smoke if you only had about a half an hour and didn’t mind putting it down half way through.
Overall, this was a pretty good smoke until it got toward the end. I picked it up for 3 bucks at the local humidor. It would have been worth it if it burned more evenly at the end. If I see these for less than two dollars, I might pick a few up, but there are better three dollar cigars out there.
