I was at Kings Island Theme Park yesterday, and after wondering around aimlessly for some time I found myself in the “Beer Garden”. I was interested in something new to try. Everything they had on tap was typical drink-it-by-the-gallon beer and I wasn’t much interested.

I noticed one of the neon signs, advertising Land Shark Lager so I decided to give it a whirl. The attendant poured the bottle into the plastic cup, and I missed it but noticed there wasn’t any head when I got it. I guess that’s OK for this type of beer.

I visited the Land Shark Lager website, and could tell that this beer is marketed as a “Get drunk on the beach and party” beer, kinda like Corona or something similar.

As for the taste of this beer, it wasn’t bad at all. It had a mild hoppiness to it and a bit of an aftertaste but was pretty good. I’m not going to run out and buy it or anything, but would drink it again if available.
