There is no mistaking this beer, with a short stubby bottle, a brown label and the top wrapped in gold foil. Kinda like an expensive piece of candy.
I poured it into a glass to find dark amber color with a fast dissolving head. The beer had a pleasant malty aroma.
The taste is great. Good level of carbonation to have a velvety feel in my mouth with a lot of flavor. A light bittery bite followed by a great malt favor with hints of caramel, vanilla, and a little nutty flavoring.
This Vienna style lager is very drinkable. It is dark but not heavy, flavorful but not overwhelming. Lime and salt optional.
At 5.40% ABV, this beer packs a punch.
Overall I will rate this beer 8/10. I enjoyed it and will certainly drink again!
