Harp Lager

Harp Lager I would first like to thank Jason Riley for providing me with a couple of bottles of Harp Lager to taste and review.

Harp Lager is brewed by the Guiness Brewing Co and I decided to enjoy this brew with my dinner of cubed steak. I poured the beer, and was impressed with the head. I let it sit for a minute, and what was remaining of the head is shown in this photo. Pretty nice I must say.

I took in the aroma and my the malts seemed to jump out at me a bit, it almost smelled a little bit like scotch. I took a couple of tastes, and at first I thought the malts were a bit overbearing in relation to the hops, but as I drank it I felt otherwise.

As I drank the beer, I took note that were was no lacing left behind.

This is a beautiful beer, the head had white, compact bubbles and the flavor of the beer is pretty good. This beer didn’t get me too excited, but it’s definitely a good beer. I’m scoring this beer a B. Thanks again Jason.
