I’ve recently been informed that a few of you out there have been waiting for this one, so here it is. Hope you enjoy.
I found this in Richmond Indiana under a sign that read “From our stable to your table”. The picture on the bottle looks more like a ticked off mule than a thoroughbred and once I poured it, I began to understand where the name came from, clear amber color with a light off white head that dissapates fast.(I’m talking about the beer, not the name). Has a good mix of malts and hops, really a good summertime beer for the race track. Crisp, clean finish with hardly an aftertaste. This would find it’s way to the porch more often if they lose the premium pricing. (4 pack for $6.99). Cool name, catchy slogan, entertaining label and not a bad tasting beer. BBC brewing company could have hit with this one if it is marketed right.
