Smithwicks LogoSmithwick’s Irish Red Ale (pronounced Smithicks in America)- I only have two words for this beer. KICK ASS! This is definitely in my top three beers. From the first taste it’s like a well orchestrated taste symphony.

I first had this beer on St. Patrick’s day weekend at an Irish pub with my dinner, and in my opinion it is best to drink Smithwick’s with a meal. Don’t get me wrong, it is great to sit with a cigar and put a few down, it just goes really well with food.

I’m going camping soon and plan to try a variety of new beers, but Smithwick’s is definitely on my beer-agenda.
