My brother gave me a great gift this Christmas, it was a couple of CAO sampler packs. I’ve been a little uncertain of the pronunciation of this brand of cigars, so I went to the internet looking for answers, and this is what I learned.
Despite what you might hear or read, CAO is NOT pronounced “cow”, nor is it called “chow”. Actually, it is pronounced C-A-O. The reason, is these are the initials of the man who started the C.A.O. cigar line, Cano A. Ozgener.
I have these new cigars settling in my humidor, and am anxious to smoke them.
